EXPERIENCE TEACHES
Sir,—When Mr Sullivan gave his survey of his tours in the Western Hemisphere, he stated that the situation called for the closest understanding and co-operation between the British Commonwealth and the U.S.A. Now, this should mean that we (the Gentiles) should scrap the dictatorship of Israel which is our economic subservience under the international banker. It is time that we broke this financial bondage, and prdduced a sane and economic finance for the British Commonwealth; free from the dominance of the gold (dollar). Denominator, which has proved so disastrous to the British Empire. I have already shown that Socialism is only a pawn in the game of international dictatorship. So what did Mr Sullivan mean in his letter from Washington (Beacon press January 5, 1949) when he was told that we were the “Boys Down Under” and when he replied, “Who put the Americans on top!” Was he thinking of the four more years of austerity control that Sir Stafford Cripps forecast owing to the pressure brought to bear by his (Cripps’s) Government on behalf of the international banker of New York? Did Mr Sullivan realise that those big schemes that he saw were dedriving the people of their puchasiing power. The Tennessee Valley scheme which is costing the people many thousands of dollars in interest (taxation) and nothing coming in! Having devastated tens of thousands of acres of first class land; driving out thousands of farmers to seek a living elsewhere. And this is what is called centralised (controlled) industry in the United States! And they are having it. And some people in New Zealand call it stabilised production. Yours etc., W. BRADSHAW.
