WAGE CLAIMS NOT MET

RAILWAYMEN DISCUSS NEXT MOVE (Rec. 9.a.m.) ■ London, Sept. 11. Branches of the National Union of Railwaymen in all parts of Great Britain are holding meetings in the next few days to discuss what they will do now that their wage claim has been turned down by the Government Conciliation Board. After a meeting today of railwaymen's representatives in the Manchester district, a union spokesman said that although union officials would do nothing illegal, he did net think that they could prevent the rank and file from taking unconstitutional action. Some of the railwaymen in Lancashire have been working to rule for two days as a protest against thc rejection of their wage claims.
