INDUCTION OF NEW MINISTER

KATIKATI PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH REV. J. S. CLARK WELCOMED BY CONGREGATION . (Times Correspondent) An impressive service was held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Katikati, recently when the Rev. J. S Clark, formerly of Stratford, was formally inducted into the parish of Katikati. The service was conducted by the Moderator, the Rev. G. T. Hughes, of Waihi. The Rev. Mr Hickson, representing the Anglican Church, was associated with the service and representatives were present from oil ports of the parish. , , , A welcome social was tendered to the Rev. Mr Clark and Mrs Clark after the evening service. Mr H. J. Cooper on behalf of the session congregation welcomed thgm to Katikati expressing the hope that their stay would be a happy one. In returning thanks for the welcome and for the trust put in them Mr Clark said that, with the help and co-oneration of the peoole the work of the Church would advance.
