ASSISTANCE EOR UNITED KINGDOM London, Sept. 22. "New Zealand has ence again come to the aid of this country in a most practical" manner by sending us large quantities of food contributed under the auspices of • her Food for" Britain fund," sai'd Mr W. A. Harrison, chairman of the Harrow Council, when accepting a consignment of tinned food for distribution to needy persons in the Harrow Council's district. The presentation of the food was made by Mrs Jordan.
