DANISH ELECTIONS
FORBIDDEN BY GERMANY New York, Jan. 24. The German representative in Denmark, Werner Best, is reported to have forbidden the Parliamentary elections scheduled for the early spring, on the ground that Germany could not tolerate free elections in an occupied country, says the Stockholm corespondent of the New York Times. Many Danish, patriots are being arrested and incarcerated in a German-controlled prison in Copenhagen.
