Mr Tom Newlands and Mr John Voss are safely home again after their varied experiences since leaving New Zealand. Both boys left these shores in the Rangitane whose fate is well known. Arriving in Wellington on Saturday, Mr Nowlands came straight through, reaching his home at Mount Maungauui on Sunday. Mr Voss arrived in Tauranga yesterday. Needless to say there is general rejoicing at the safe return of the boys. Miss Tui Keenan is spending her annual holiday in Auckland. Mr Frank Briggs, John Briggs and Mr Keith Gifford are having a few days at Taupo, Rotoiti and Waikaremoana. Mr and Mrs Dragicebich and Messrs Austin, Wragg, Lennah and Thurgood are guests at the Tauranga Hotel. Envoy and Mrs Jones of the Salvation Army, are at present on leave in Auckland. Mr and Mrs Forshaw have returned from a holiday spent at Silverdale. Mi’s,, Bjorngaard of Hawkes Bay is spending a holiday with her sister Mrs A. T. Rutherford of Norris Street. Mrs Neves and family of Westmere, Auckland, who have been staying with Mrs Ballantine, of Kaimai, returned home to-day. A family which will be much missed from Tauranga is that of Mr and Mrs H. P. Wenzlick and their children. Mr Wenzlick, who is in the railways, has been moved to Otahuhu, and left last week. The family are to follow’ shortly and will live at Mangere where they have, bought a home. Staunch members of Holy Trinity Church, it is in this circle .that their departure will be most keenly felt. Visitors to Tauranga staying at the Star Hotel include Mr and Mrs R. Butqher, Misses Kidd and Aitken, Mrs ans Miss Weatherhog, Mrs Gervan and child and Messrs de Luen, A. Taylor, W. Robinson, C. Robinson, Duck, Spencer and Meyer. Recent arrivals at Hotel Manor include Mrs Rickets, Mrs McLean (Waipukurau), Mrs W. J. Robinson, Miss L. Robinson (Hamilton), Mr and Mrs Bennett, Mrs Perston, Miss Jocelyn Perston, Mr Perston (Auckland), and Mr Moore (Rotorua), Guests at the Masonic Hotel include Mr and Mrs Brynden and Messrs Beale, Litten, McAlister, Edw r ards and Warner.
