Mrs Wallace Rowe and Miss O. Rowe of Boulcott Street, Wellington, who have been spending a week at St. Anne's, left to-day for Hamilton where they will spend a night before returning home. The Rev. J. Ewen Simpson of Dunedin, with Mrs Simpson and their two children, is spending a holiday in Tauranga. Mr Simpson will be well remembered here, having been Pastor at the Baptist Church for two years, 1930-32. At present Mr Simpson is in the charge at the City Church, Dunedin. Mr and Mrs T. R. Hunt and family, of Ohauiti, left yesterday to spend a few weeks at Rotoiti. Latest arrivals at the Star Hotel include Mr and Mrs Anderson, Mesdames Foote and Learning, .and Messrs Ripley, Buchanan, . H. England, F. L. Townsend, Wilton and Coulter. Messrs Maxwell Walker, Keyvar, A. Hall and Forsdick are guests at the Masonic Hotel. Visitors to Tauranga staying at the Tauranga Hotel include Mr, Mrs and Master Jackson, Mr, Mrs, Master and Miss Glazebrook, Mrs Ferguson, Mrs Sidey, Miss Kelliher, and Messrs Crawford, Anderson, Rees, McGowen and Collins.
