Permission to attend the annual conference of the Royal Sanitary Institute at Auckland on February 18, 19 and 2 0 was granted to the County Inspector (Mr T. B. Turley) at the monthly meeting, of the Tauranga County Council yesterday. Reference to the, death of the Hon. C. E. Macmillan was made at the monthly meeting of the Tauranga County Council yesterday, members standing in silence as a mark of respect. Mr and Mrs Foxcro'ft and Mr and Mrs Leslie Taylor, of Auckland, are the guests og Mrs J. Wright, Ohauiti.
