DAIRY SCIENCE
PROGRESS IN >(K\V ZEALAND New Zealand could well be proud of the • past hundred years as far as dairying was concerned, Professor W. r Riddet told the Dairy , Science Association the other day. It had come to occupy a position unexcelled in any other exporting, country. A. very high standard had been obtained, and it behoved the Dominion to maintain that standard. From a technical point of view it is true that the industry! has made, remarkable progress, and that progress has never been more notable than in the past ten years. Scientists have every reason for pride in their achievements. It is to be hoped that nothing will be done in the political sphere to upset the efficiency of an industry that is of the utmost value to the country.
