BARGAINS IN TRAVEL

Railway companies in Great Britain offer to the travelling public, holiday weekly season tickets. This allows the holder to travel as often as he likes for a week in one of the 47 zones of one of the big railway groups. The charges vary from 5s 3d to 18s 6d, and the mileage from 35 to no less than 356. Last year a canny Scot held the record by travelling 1,200 miles on a ten-shilling ticket.
