VOL'XG FARMERS- CLUB (Fnnn Our Correspondent! The annual rally of the Bay of Plenty Young Farmers’ Club took place in Te Puke yesterday. At h o’clock, a meeting was held in St. Andrew’s Hall, Mr Cawte being chairman. Mr J. McNaughton was acting Secretary in the absence of Mr C. Walker.

It was decided that a letter be se»t to Mr D. S. Ross, congratulating bin l on liis appointment as President of the Provincial Council. It was left to the Secretary to in touch with the various Clubs and obtain their opinion whether on® lengthy tour or two shorter ones be undertaken next year.

It was agreed that the Waihi re* mit be passed on to tbe Distric Council. At the conclusion of the 111 I' 11 ? the visitors from Opotiki, RangltaiK - Tauranga, Oropi, and Katikati entertained to dinner at Baikie s te rooms. ~ In the afternoon a football maw was played and this was followed a 1 night by a dance in the Paengar Hall.
