DRAW FOR SATURDAY The following is the basketball draw for Saturday next: First Division, - p.m. School A v. Rovers, No 1 ground; Athletics v. H.5.0.G., No 2 ground; Te Puna v. Matakana, N T o 3 ground. Second Division 2 p.m. Triers v. United, No. 1 ground; Scots v. Kiwi, No 2 ground; Comrades v. School B, No 3 ground. Judea, a bye. AMERICAN GAME Some very interesting games of American Basketball were witnessed at the Rivoli last night, the standard of play being high. The first game Kiwis v. Dunlop’s was' won by Kiwis, Hie score being--14 points to S. The scorers for Kiwi vere Caraway (2), Walker (8), Thomas (4). For Dunlop scores were registered by C. Randle (4), Elder (2), Rowsell (2). The ladies’ game. United v. Judea, was a good exhibition and was won by United by 20 to 10. C. Walker for United scored (12), B. Brant (2), H. Nicholas (6). For Judea the scorers were J. Nepia (4), K. Thompson (2), D. Karawa 1. 4). The game Jury’s v. Wanderers, was won by Jury’s, the score being 32 to 7. Scorers for Jury’s were Playfair (1), Scaudle (17), Greer (S), Adamson (0), and for Wanderers. Willis (2), Woods (3), Dagley (2).
