Mr F. W. Doidge left to-day on a visit to Wellington, and expects to return towards the end of next week. Mr and Mrs K. 11. Sinclair. Selwyn Street, have returned from a visit to Pukekohe. Mr T, French, of Bell Block. Taranaki. was a visitor to Tauranga this week. Visitors at the Tauranga Hotel include Messrs Walker, Cruncher, Campbell. Warren, Mcllree, Whittaker, Taylor and White. Guests at the Star Hotel include Mr and Mrs Ramsden, Mr and Mrs Carr Kolleti. Mr and Mrs Clarke. Mr and -Mrs Mcßae. Messrs Adams, Ashton and Wilson. The following transfers of railway stationmasters, with promotion, are announced: Mr M. Curran, from Tauranga to Whangarei; Mr A. H. Evendem to Tauranga; -Ur F. G. lugpen. to Waihi; Mr P. Kennedy, to Taneatua; Mr R. G. Russell, to Te Puke.
