Town Hall Presenting an interesting, breezy story of tlie drama, romance and comedy in a big time carnival show. Universal’s "Carnival Queen” screens finally to-night at the Town Hall Theatre. The blonde beauty. Dorothea Kent, portrays tlie owner of Preseotfs Mammoth Carnival, around whom a series of surprising dramatic episodes revolve. Robert AVilcox, one of Hollywood’s handsome young actors, gives a splendid performance as tlie mini Miss Kent hires to manage her carnival. From the moment (hey meet in a blinding rain storm, their romance keeps pace with the dramatic action.

Three established stage players win new honours on the screen in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s mystery picture. "London Ry Night.” which opened yesterday at the Regent Theatre. George Murphy, former Broadway dancer, more recently in pictures. has his first dramatic role and 1 roves liis ability without question.
