THREE LADS, THREE “JOBS" After seeing a film called “The Frog,’’ in which, according to the father of one of them, the burglar seemed to get away with it, three lads left a Canterbury cinema and— Broke into a laundry office and took away tills containing about 3 os. Failed to enter a cafe.
Broke into a tailor’s shop, and, in the light of paper which they burned, forced open a desk.
AValkcd to AVinstable, and got into an empty house, but could not sleep owing to the cold, so they broke into a shed and stole wood for a fire, and bottles of minerals.
The boys, one aged 13 and the others 16, pleaded “Guilty” at Canterbury Juvenile Court. They were stated to be members of families respectively of eight, nine, and 13 children. They were all bound over, and each has to pay Is a wgek towards the damage.
