The Secretary of the Te Aroha Chamber °f Commerce, wrote con--teming the ravages of the white butterfly and stated: “Our Chamber has already taken steps to inaugurate a scheme' whereby school children participate for prizes in the collection of lie insects. We are endeavouring also to have further batches of parasites released in this district. Might we ask for your co-operation along similar lines In your district.” Mr Robbins pointed out that a number of parasites had been released some time ago in various parts ot the Tauranga district.
