Mrs E. S. Knowles has returned from a holiday spent in Palmerston North. Miss Ailsa Watson, of Masterton, arrived from Napier yesterday and is the guest of Mrs E. S. Knowles, Mission Street. Mrs W. Waters, of Selwyn Street, left this morning for Auckland to bid goodbye to her daughter, Miss E. Waters, who leaves to-morrow for the Old Country, where she is to be married. Mr N. Berridge, who has been spending a holiday with friends in Tauranga, has left on his return to Mosgiel. Guests at the Star Hotel are Mr and Mrs Grey, Mr and Mrs Shank, Mr and Mrs Skow, Mr and Mrs Slater, Miss Vance, Miss Robertson, and Messrs Shank and Crewes. Mr and Mrs McWilliam, of Eltham, are visiting Tauranga and are staying at the Star Hotel. Mr Gordon Butler, who took part in the bowling tournament this week, left this morning on his return to Auckland. Mr and Mrs Hewitt, of Sydney, are spending a holiday in Tauranga and are staying at the Commercial Hotel. Mr and Mrs Discaciati, of Reefton, who have been staying at the Masonic Hotel, left to-day for Rotorua. Mr Diecaciati is the Inangahua representative for the Canterbury Automobile Association. Guests at the Commercial Hotel include Mr and Mrs Mason, Miss White, Miss Graham and Mr R. G. Gray (Wellington), Mr and Mrs Good and Miss Good . (Hawera), Mr and Mrs Worrall, and Mr Ahfeld (Auckland).
