The Government Meteorologist wired to-day:—The indications are for northerly, moderate winds, later backing by west to south. There is a prospect of fair weather. After about 16 hours weather clouding over; rain later. Barometer, unsteady, but has a falling tendency. Seas, smooth: tides, moderate.
