WESTFIELD MARKET. Auckland, April 23 Messrs A. Buckland report that today at Westfield they penned 348 head of cattle, comprising 218 steers and 130 cows and heifers. Extra heavy prime steers ranged In price from £l4 15s to £ls ss; heavy, £l4 to £l4 12/6; lighter, £l3 to £l3 17/6; light, £ll 10s to £l2 17/6; small and unfinished, £8 to £ll 7/6; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £lO 10s to £ll ss; heavy, £9 to £lO 7/6; lighter, £7 to £8 10s; other killable cows, £4 to £6 17/6.
