Messrs j Tanner Bros - , wii: oe again to the ifore with prime fat cattle and sheep [equal to any stock of the kind in the ; Dominion. The light horse section ’and the ring events will be well up to the general standard, and the competition will be decidedly interesting as Waikato and Opotiki horses will compete against the local animals. The leaping events on the second day promise to he a special feature. The cookery and needlework sections are strong divisions, and some excellent exhibits will be staged in these departments In one class there are no less than thirteen entries. The Secretary has been inundated with applications for side shows, and in this line there will be far more than the usual number in operation. The ladies’ committee has again kindly consented to take control of the catering arrangements and needless to say patrons will be well looked after. Donations of cakes and scones will be very acceptable for the two days. The Tauranga Municipal Bund will be present on the second clay and will render a special programme. The committee has all arrangements on the ground well forward. The holding of a two days’ show means considerable expenditure, and no doubt the public will show their appreciation hy patronising the show liberally on both days.
