YACHT VICTORY
RETURN FROM NORFOLK ISLAND.

Tire yacht Victory has returned to Totara North, Whangaroa, from Norfolk Island.
The Victory left Auckland on December 19th. The weather was boisterous at the time and the Victory worked up the Coast and then started on the final leg of her 609 mile journey, the distance from the North Cape being about 850 miles. Norfolk Island was reached on December 26th, and after a stay of a few days the trip back to New Zealand was commenced-
The Victory is a boat of seven tons with an overall length of 38 feet. She is regarded as a fine sea boat and was once sailed in a race of the lloyal New Zealand Yacht Squadron by Lord Jellicoe.
