BRITISH BUTTER MARKET. Auckland, April 23 Messrs' Dalgely and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their Loudon house, dated April 21: Butler.—The market is steady, hut quiet. New Zealand butter, 151/ to 154/; Banish, 178/; Australian, finest,, unsulled, ICO/, saltecj,, 150/ to 154/. Cheese.—The market is quiet. New Zealand cheese, 70/; Canadian, white and coloured, 86/ to 94/. Messrs Norden and Company, Limited, have been advised by their London principals, Messrs Andrew ■Clement and Sons, Limitd, under date April 21, that New Zealand butter was quoted at 1 a.y/ lor salted, and 160/ lor unsalted on a steady market. Cheese was selling at 76/ for while ad 77/ for coloured, the market being quiet. The steamers Matatua and lonic arrived in London m the' course of the week.
