A GREAT INCREASE. Auckland, April 23 Further evidence of the greyi increase in dairy production in the Auckland Province Ims season is provided by ihe re turn of Lultor and cheese received by Ihe Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company. From July 1, 1926, to April 2n, lasi. Ihe receipts of butter totalled 1.704, Olio boxes and of cheese 158,109 crates, compared with 1,UiJ,230 boxes of butler and 117,723 crates of cheese in the preceding season. The increases are 2-13,336 boxes of bully and 10,686 crates of cheese. The reduction of returns to But-ter-fat reveals the remarkable increase oil 12,077,9521 b in production, the total being 89,6TJ, 1121 b compared with 77,541,lOulli lust season. Of this season’s production SO, 114,0021 bof butter-fat were used in the manufacture of butter and 9.501,5101 b in cheese. The boxes of butter received jtfuring the fortnight ended April 20 numbered 03,311, an increase of 9,374 on the corresponding period last year, while the crates of cheese totalled 6,726, an increase of 163.
