ATTEMPTED MURDER
(Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, May 20. The hearing of evidence in the lower court on the charge agauisf Erurua Tangeroa of attempting to murder "William Ross at Pareuauui, near Bulls, on April 27. has concluded. The accused pleaded not guilty and reserved hi.s defence. Ho was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. The additional evidence related to the arrest of the accused and his strange actions. Accused's son stated that the clay prior to the shooting affray the accused smashed up his gig, chopped the handle off a spade, and threw a revolver into the river.
