$o newspaper? have been received ■from Austria since Friday, The Vienna Arbeiter Zeituag, in a remarkable article, said that the patience o f the tortured masses had ended, and" they wer« uaa^<- lo endure looker. Not only the workers but ■millions of yeasauts, officials aud professional meu demanded peace, aud the strikers were now translating a powerless wish into a definite act. Ib was strange that the Austrian censor allowed an article to be published in German newspapers ignoring the ■■Austrian crisis: ■;.-\ well informed traveller from Austria states that every Austrian ridicules the idea of fighting on for ilsace Lorraine. Germany's aunexalion iv Belgium, the freedom of the seas, aud other items in the German jingoes' programme. Austria wants an° Austrian peace, and the overwhelming mass of the people support the "right of self-determination by the occupied territories. Germany does not want peace, Austria does, but will she be offered it ?
