THE MART SALE
Messrs Wilson and Bobbins report a very satisfactory market sale on Saturday. Most lines in produce show a steady advance in prices. A large quantity of potatoes sold at higher prices. Onions were in fair demand, poultry continues to be little enquired after and prices rule low. Apples sold well. A. large number of would bo buyers were disappointed at there not boing any fresh pork on sslo. Potatoes t-old at Ga to 7s 01 cwr, onions 7s to S«l and iii small lots l.[d lh, cabbages :)i to 5d eioh, pumpkins 8s to Is each, horse carrots 29 6d sack, oatf n chaff 2s sack, apples made up to -Is Gel small cafe, fowls Is 3d each. Furniture and sundries sold well, bidding beiusf brisk and good prices were realised.
