PRINCES PICTURES
' An interesting collection of entertaining pictures was screened at the Opera House on Saturday evening. The leading feature was a drama entitled "The Parting of the -Ways," which was replete with thrilling and exciting situations. The Eclair Journal comprised notable events, including M. Pegoud's thrilling feats with his aeroplane, Eio de Janiero dog show, motor cars ablaze at Brooklands as the sesult of a collision, grand army manoeuvres at Northampton, Sir Edward Carson reviewing 12,000 Ulster volunteers, etc. The beauties of Japan were depicted in an excellent film, the scenes including views of Kobe and Tokio, Lake Hakone, and Nufushina, one of the most beautiful spots in the country. Carnival week at Ohristcllurch showed the races for the New Zealand Cup and the Trotting Cup, and incidents at the Agricultural Show. Other films represented comic and dramatic subjects, and this interesting programmG will ho repeated this evening.
