Mr Davis, president of the National Conference of Friendly Societies says if the doctors insistedion all the cardinal pointa in connection 4 with the Insurance Bill, including the 40s income limit, the Friendly Societies would fight the question on a commercial basis. ,_ It is semi-officially stated -that Mr Lloyd George is now willing to allow doctors nearly 8a 6d per head annually. This would add nearly £1,500,000 yearly to the cost of insurance.
