Greenback tonic the lead early in the race, with Lenitarg, Wildll >\ver, and Neil Gow in elosu Jittcuhnto The positions were practically unaltered till a few yards from the post, when Lemberg w.is cal'ed upon, and, miking a great effort, he snatch d a victory on the post by a nec:.c from Greeubick. Chas O'Malley came up at tho business end and passed Wildfhwer and Neil Gow, but could not get within two lengths of the leaders.
