ATHLETIC CLUB.
The annual meeting of tho Te Puko Athletic Club was held in Mr Wintie's saloon on Tuesday evening. Mr K. Uuitcher presided and there was a largo attendance. The balance-sheet was read and adopted, disclosing a credit balance of £10 5s Od. It was resolved tjbUt the annual ' sports mepfttingi Ij|g held on Easter ; Monday. Ryan ; secretary, Mr .1. F.> Win tie.; treasurer, ! Mr E. H. Butcher ;. h'aindipappers. Messrs E. Butcher and J. F. Wintlo; judges, Messrs T>. .1. Mcpwq^ T. N. Diprose and W. Barrow ; starter, Mr W. Brady ; assistant starter, Mr If. Brownlie. It wan decided t o hold a concert and d'anco on the night of tho sports. ' Messrs S. McEwen, D. .'TOri'B'ley, .1. F. Wintle, C. McGhie, — . Dlivor and W. Ansell, were appointed to draw up the sports programme. Messrs 1 (1. McKcll^r, .T. T.. P. Harris. S- 'McEK\vn, T>. Wrfglvy.- J. F. Wintle. Oliver and W. Ansell were appointed to arrange the concert programme.
