The barque Mermaid will take the adventurers to the Solomon Ja. lands. She was to leave Nan Franoisco during last month. Many of those who are proceeding to the islands are from the Eastern States of America. The brigantine Percy Edwards, which took the first expedition from San Francisco to Suva, is lo come on to Auokiand shortly to be sold.
