REGATIA CLUB.
The adjourned special meeting of subscribers was held in the Tauranga Hotel on Tuesday evening, Afcril 22nd, 1890, at 7.30. Present-rMessrs Maxwell, Stuart, Blake, Carter, £ulnie, and others. Mt T. Stuar| occupied the chair. The secretary read the notice calling the meeting. [ ; f „ The requisit|U»n^o the secretary, to call the meeting was also read. ! Proposed bir Mr Carter " That a bonus of £10 in addition to the prizebeawifded to tHe winning IS-fwtc^n^saiKng centreboard boat competing in a race for that class, buift inftiie Bay 6t Pleri^ SEstnct, ranging from. Opotiki to Mercur|' Bay, and buUt between now (April 22nd f 1890,) and next regitta. Open fo aiT cpnierg. Keel boats n^iy also compete. Three new boats to starjt or no bonus." — Seconded by Mr Maxwell, and carried unanimously. Proposed by Mr Carter that the resolution be printed and circulated amongst the boatingi community.— -Seconded ]t>y Mr Blake, and carried unanimously. A vote of thanks to the Chairman terminated the meeting.
