A NEW APPLE.

Saint Cecilia is the name of ft new seedling apple now being 'sent out in England at prices ranging from 10s Gd to 30s- each. Two years ago this novelty received an award of merit from the -Royal Horticultural Society,- and this year it received a first-class certificate from the same society. It -was raised from Cox's Pippin, crossed with an unknown variety. It has a strikingly handsome appearanco, the fruits, though, of small size, are very shapely, a deep red colour all over. It is of the same excellent quality as Cox'a Orange Pippin, and will prove a valuable addition to late dessert apples. At the end of January last the fruits when exhibited were solid and juicy, without the least sign of shrivelling.
