STEVENSON'S PICTURES.
The pressure that crooked politicians eometitneß bring to bear on various pubic servants is shown vividly in " Transgression," the Greater Vitagraph feature play which Mr Stevensonjwill present at Milton on Saturday evening. Earle Wil
aulas portrays a man who has been successful in life, and is the leading man in hie town. Through a strange set of circumstances he comes upon his youug brother, apparently the author of a hideous murder, Swiftly the elder sets about removing all traces of the crime, Later in life his action becomes known to some members of the unscrupulous political gang which he is endeavoring to chase out of the country. His awful predicament is complicated by the fact that he is engaged to the daughter of the Orown Prosecutor, who refuses to sell his honor at the price of his daughter's happiness. The play is full of thrilling incident, and is an achievement of which the big American company can be justly proud. There are excellent supporting features in " Through Central Texas,'' Gaumont Graphic, and the Keystone comedy, " A Film Exposure."
