Red Cross Work.

The monthly box waß forwarded to Dunedin centre on Tuesday, and contained the following articles Halo of beads (Miss Nelson) ss, 10 suits pyjamas, 5 undervests, 11 hospital shirts, 5 hospital coats, 3 flannel bed jackets, 5 bod.y belts, 10 hot water bottle covers, 10 service bags, 1 pair bed sox, 4 day shirts, 110 abdominal swabs, 40 medicine cloths, 20 surgical veils. Lady Liverpool Fund—so pairs handknitted socks and two mufflers have been sent to Dunedin oentre; also ss/for Wellington Soldiers' Club. Three pairs sox have been received from Waronui School. Dominion Parcels Fund—The monthly contribution of £5 has been forwarded to Dunedin centre. At a committee meeting of the local branch of the Red Cross Society it was decided to hold a jumble sale on 6th August to raise money, the committee are completely out of funds for Red Cross work, It is hoped the people of Milton will take a real interest in this sale and help to make it a great Buccess, as all the articles are urgently needed.
