Extraordinary prices were realised at the weekly market at Braintree (Essex) lately. Hens made" 13s each, all previous • records beinj broken, and 15,000 eggs sold-.wholesale at 2Jd each. Ess§x-grovvn wheat again reached 60s a quarter, a'rise of 2s on the week, and as a result, the price of bread was advanced, from Bdta Bjd.
