HORSE SALES.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows : — An average supply of horses Was yarded to-day, consisting principally of the description suitable for saddle and light harness work. A few good, useful draughts were also entered, but in most cases vendors' ideas of values were above those ruling in the market. A few outside buyers werff present for useful harness horses and hacks, and most of those offered found purchasers. We quote :— First-class draughts, £17 to £22 ; medium draughts, £10 to £14 ; good hacks and harness horses, £12 to £16 ; medium hacks and harness horses, £7 to £9 ', light and inferior hacks and harness horses, £2 10s to £5.
