Meenan reports under date June 11 : — Wholesale prices for the week are as follows, including bags : Oats, Is lOd to 2s 3d ; wheat, 3s 9d to 4s 3d, market firm ; fowls' wheat 3s ; barley, malting, best 3s to 3s 3d, milling 2s 6d, feeding 2s to 2s 3d ; chaff, £3 53 to £3 10j ; straw, 35s ; bran, £5 10s ; pollard, £6 ; hay, £3 5s ; rye-grass, £3 ; potatoes, kidneys, £3, derwent, £3 per ton ; butter, fresh Is to Is 2d, salt (prime in kegs,) 9d to 9£d ; hams, 9d ; bacon, 7d ; rolls, 6-^d ; eggs, 2s 3d per dozen ; flour, £9 to £9 10a ; roller flour, £10 103 to £11 5s ; oatmeal £11 10s.
