[press assooiation.l WELLINGTON, to-day. The question of a bankrupt's liability Avas iiiA'olved in a civil action 'n which, the Te Aro Loan Company sued G. B. Dusk for £29. It appeared that Lusk, while o bankrupt, signed a promissory note in renewal of a promissory note given before be avsws adjudged a bankrupt. Dr McArthur held that tim original .note was payable, in bankruptcy, and under .section 132 of the Bankruptcy Act the. order of discharge released the bankrupt from that debt. Judgment was therefore entered for the defendant.-
