NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Waipawa County Council held on the 6th day of May, 1908, the following resolution was passed : - ■ /"That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ' The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901/ the Dannevirke County Council hereby resolves as follows :' — " That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800 authorised to be raised by the Dannevirke County Council under the abovementioned Act for reform- - ing and metalling the worst portions of the Upper Mangapuaka road from its junction with the Te Uri road to its intersection with the northeastern corner of Section 2, Block 111., Mangatoro Survey Distriot, the said Dannevirke County Council hereby makes and , levies a SPECIAL RATE • of TWOPENCE HALFPENNY in the £ upon the rateable property of the Upper Mangapuaka Road Special Rating District, " comprising Section_2, Block 111 , Section 1, Block VIL, and one half of Section 2, Block VIL, all of the Mangatoro Survey District, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the FIRST day of July in each and every year during the Currency of such loan, being a period of forty one years, or until the* loan it fully paid off." AND notice is hereby also "given that the said resolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the said Waipawa County Council to bB held at the Borough Council Chambers, Dannevirke, on the 10;hday of June, 1908, at 10.80 c.m , for confirmation as a Special Order.
