RELEASES BY GROCERS NO "TIE-UP" WITH BUTTER Grocers are not permitted to confine releases of canned fruit to their registered butter customers, according to advice received from the Food Controller, Mr. A. J. Costelloe. Mr. Costelloe states there is no restriction on the sale of canned fruit as far as his office is concerned. The matter is left entirely in the hands of retailers Lo distribute the canned fruit as fairly as possible among all their regular customers.
