2ND N.Z.E.F. ASSOCIATION

P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The formation of a branch of the Second N.Z.E.F. Association was opposed at a meeting of servicemen in New Plymouth last night. The convener of the meeting, Mr N. L. Stubbs, said he had acted on a request from the Second N.Z.E.F. Association at Auckland, but he could see there was no chance of forming a branch in New Plymouth and he would report accordingly. The meeting was poorly attended and no attempt was made to form a branch.
