COLLISION AT MOEREWA MAORI DIES IN HOSPITAL. o C WHANGAREI, this day. Resulting from injuries received in a collision with a motor truck, a Maori died in the Kawakawa Hospital last night. He was Mr. Jonah Wiki, aged 25, a married man with three children, and an employee at the Moerewa freezing works. Mr. Wiki was riding on the mam road at Moerewa at 8 p.m. when he came into collision with a motor truck driven by a cousin, Mr. Mundy Wiki. He suffered a fracture of the base of the skull and other injuiies and was taken to the Kawakawa Hospital, where he died two hours 13 An inquest was opened by the coroner to-day in Whangarei.
