MORE PETROL FOR CARS?
WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Questioned concerning the petrol ration, the Minister of Supply, Mr. Sullivan, said that now that the war was over it was hoped that further supplies of petrol would be available for civilian use. The New Zealand Government was taking up the matter at once with the British authorities. Should any immediate measure of success be secured, the small licenses recently revoked would be restored. Under'the recent announcement licenses for four gallons and under were cancelled.
