A total of 000 garments had been sent to the Public Hospital for distribution to those in need who were sick, stated a report presented at the annual meeting of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary's City Sewing Circle Mrs. A. D. Campbell presided Among other things, it was stated that dozens of dressing gowns and gay bed jackets had been made and liven to the children's wards. Mrs. Campbell paid a tribute to the retiring convener, Mrs. J. N. Ormiston. Mrs. Breda was elected Convener and Mrs. Rowe deputy-con-vener The treasurer, Mrs. Spragg, and secretary, Mrs. de Andre, were re-elected.
