WEEK'S VICTORY PAY
AUSTRALIAN PROPOSAL. Rec. noon. CANBERRA, this day. A victory bonus of a week's holiday on full pay has been proposed by the Commonwealth Public Servants' Association, and it is stated officially that the Government favours the idea, which could be adopted by private employers. The Federal public servants gave up their Saturday mornings off during the war and also won' ?d long hours.
