STRONG TARANAKI SUPPORT O.C. HAMILTON, this day. Strong support for the Federated Farmers of New Zealand was being given in Taranaki, said the Waikato organiser of the Farmers' Union, Mr. N. F. Taylor, who has been organising on loan in the Taranaki district. Mr. Taylor said that every meeting he had addressed had been well attended in spite of the fact that many were held on very wet nights. ' In eight days he had signed up 12 members of the new organisation. Six branches had already been formed in Central .Taranaki and arrangements were in train for the . formation of ten more in the same area. There were twenty branches in Northern Taranaki. Mr. Taylor, who returned to Taranaki to-day,' expects to - spend two months in the province.
