SOCIAL SECURITY

REGISTRATION FEES NEW LEVY BOOKS PRINTED Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, this day. The current social security registration fee coupon books issued to males expire in November next. That has been noted more probably by those who are in the habit of paying in advance the fees for the whole year. Some who have wanted to do that this month, when the quarterly instalment of 5/ is due, have been wondering what the procedure is going to be and, possibly, some have even thought of the possibility of the fee being discontinued. They can be assured, however, that new books are to be issued.

When' the matter was raised in official quarters, it was stated that new levy books had and distributed to post offices, and that any person desiring to pay his levy for the period ahead, not covered by the present book., would be issued with one of the new series.
