CHAMPIONSHIP PINAL The Auckland Football Association's senior A championship will he decided on Saturday, when two of the leading teams, North Shore and R.N.Z.A.F. (Whenuapai), will meet in the main match at Blandford Park. Also in the running for honours is Philomel. It was reported at last night's meeting of the Control Board that on this occasion the curtain-raisers at headquarters would be between lower grade teams.

Entries were received for the Falcon Cup competition from 12 clubs. The draw for the first round, to begin on August 18, is: Comrades v. R.N.Z.A.F. (Ardmore), R.N.Z.A.F. (Whenuapai) v. Metro-College, R.N.Z.A.F. (Swanson) v. Philomel, Thistle v. Eastern Suburbs. It was reported that the other teams would have byes that day.

A challenge was received from R.N.Z.A.F. (Ardmore) for the Munro Cup. at present held by R.N.Z.A.F''. (Whenuapai). The match will be played against the winner of the WhenuapaiNavy game.
