FUTURE OF AIRFIELDS
Parliamentary Reporter. WELLINGTON, this day. Airfields at Mangere and Kaitaia will revert to civil airports, while Ardmore and Hobsonville, which were constructed as Royai New Zealand Air Force stations, will continue to be so used, said the Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones, when replying yesterday to questions as to the intentions of the Government regarding airfields which were taken over for defence purposes at the outbreak of war.
